Scheduling Classes:
- To schedule a class in the media center please use my Google Spreadsheet Calendar (you must be logged into your CMS Goolge acct):
Online Catalog:
- You can search for books and other materials from your computer or from home by going to the media center’s webpage or going to Horizon Information Portal.
Requesting Materials:
- You will need to have a borrower number added to your account, so please see me.
- You can request books that are unavailable when you search for them online.
- Once the item is received it will be placed in your mailbox.
- You can request items from the online catalog. Just hit the request button and enter your borrower number.
Checking Out Materials:
- You can check out materials before, during, and after school. If you want to check something out before or after school and I am not in the Media Center please complete the “Teacher’s Check-out form” that is located at the check out desk. You will write your name, date, number of items, and the CMS barcode (only the last 8 digits) for each item. If there are a large number of items you may leave them behind the check out desk on the shelf labeled “Teacher Check-out.” Just be sure to write your name and room number on the little white cards and leave it on top of the stack and I will make sure the books get to your classroom.
Collaboration:
- I would love to collaborate on projects, lessons, and information literacy. Please contact me if you are interested. I am willing to work on about any project you have in mind.
